Okay... So the gargoyles were only entertained for a brief moment (that moment lasted only until the client realized what he asked for was a gargoyle.) Here we have a step down from that extreme.
He liked this but now we are back to refining the 2nd logo from the previous post. What will the finished logo look like? It's a mystery.

Nate, you're really doing good work. These M's are cool (and even kind of gargoyle-ish) but I think your client is wise to choose that second logo.
