I like the second one best. No question. On a closer look, the spacing between the n and h looks a tiny bit crowded. Also, would the upper-case M look better if it's vertical lines were fatter -- since it's the first letter, and bigger overall?
But the second one isn't bad. It would be better without the little 'j' on the upper-case M.

Yes. Feedback was what I was after. thank you. Unfortunately I don't think any of this feedback will do much good since the client wants to go in another direction. Can you say Gargoyle? Cringe for what comes next....
I'm going to have to agree with all of the above. The second one is by far the best. You do excellent work. As for the client, what is he or she thinking? I can't believe he or she wants to go in a different direction. You're brilliant! Doesn't he/she understand????
The universal artist's-holy-grail: creative control. Too bad you're not his artistic consultant too. Oh well. I'll bet, Nate, that you can make "another direction" good too. Keep us posted?
