Its been a long time
since I've crashed and burned.
Maybe it's my turn.

Its been a long time
since I've kept my nerve.
Maybe it's my turn.

Its been a long time
since I've crashed and burned.

Crash and burn, eh? :) That was written pre-phone conversation, right? It must have been on your mind then. Sometimes I wonder if we set ourselves up for those types of things. Do people go into something, not really expecting it to work...willing to put their whole hearts into it? And yet, because of that thought in the back of their minds, it was doomed from the start. Hmm? I like your website...and I told you that Monday morning, according to my "plan," I would see it :)

Crash and burn all you want, but if I have anything to say about it, and I do, maybe it's your perspective. Let me ask you this Nate. Why do we fall down? That's right. So we can learn to pick ourselves back up. Just one of my clever sayings that I always say. Made it up all by myself too. Bet you think I'm smart don't you. DON'T YOU!!! Yeah, me too.

I always thought you were coolest on the offdays.. and that we didn't work very well together on the regular work days. Sort of a friends, but not fellow workers bit eh?
So you too have entered geekdom and joined the ranks of Internet geekedness too? Cheers to that.
So whereabouts are you living these days? I am in the SLC of Ute. and that amuses me.

Nate, I really wish you'd post something else. But since you have failed to meet my demands I shall comment again.
The unavoidable throes of life. They're a five letter word aren't they? What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger. Right? Wrong? I don't know.
Although the occasional heartache is inevitable, I don't think it is ever expected. We may set ourselves up for disappointment, but not with the intention of being disappointed. I think we go into things with the sincerest hope that it will work out. But, some things just weren't meant to be, and it sucks real bad when we finally figure that out. Fortunately i've never experienced this for myself, so what do I know? I could be wrong.

And it's been awhile
Since I could hold my head up high
And it's been awhile
Since I first saw you
And it's been awhile
Since I could stand on my own two feet again

And everything I can't remember
The consequences that I've rendered
I've stretched myself beyond my means

And it's been awhile
Since I could say that I wasn't addicted
And it's been awhile
Since I could say I love myself as well
And it's been awhile
Since I could look at myself straight
And it's been awhile
Since I could hold my head up high
And it's been awhile
Since I said I'm sorry

And it's been awhile since I blogged with you ;)
